Acceptance of quotation and payment of deposit will be taken as acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Please ensure you have read and fully understand what is written below. Please contact us if anything is not clear to you.
Booking Your Date 1.1 All event bookings must be confirmed in writing by yourself. 1.2 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure Sweet Tooth Events for the date of your event. 1.3 All bookings are subject to guest numbers which should be confirmed by yourself. 1.4 Payment methods available include bank transfer and cash.
Booking Confirmation 2.1 Once your deposit has been received a receipt will be issued by Sweet Tooth Events.
Payment of Total Event Costs Prior to Event 3.1 Payment in full is required for all catering services to be provided by Sweet Tooth Events 7 days prior to the event. 3.2 Final guest numbers must be confirmed to Sweet Tooth Events no later than one month prior to the event. 3.3 Should Sweet Tooth Events be advised of any increases in guest numbers following payment, Sweet Tooth Events reserve the right to accept these and will raise an additional invoice following the event for these guests for extra food/consumables needed, payment will then be due for immediate settlement by yourself.
Cancellation Charges 4.1 In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled a confirmation in writing will be needed by yourself. Your deposit will be retained and the following charges will be incurred 4.2 Cancellation received with less than 7 days notice prior to the event – 100% of total event cost. 4.3 Any additional costs incurred by Sweet Tooth Events in preparation of the event up until the time of cancellation will be charged to you. This is to cover any losses caused to Sweet Tooth Events for administration costs, travel, supplies etc. and will be discussed fully in the event of cancellation.
Dietary Requirements and Allergies 5.1 Sweet Tooth Events will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance.
Itinerary & Punctuality 6.1 Sweet Tooth Events request a serving time slot upon the time of quotation, this time is provided by yourself for us to start serving your guests. We plan our journey, set up and other preparation processes according to this time. 6.2 We understand your itinerary can change from the time of quotation to nearer to the event date. It is your responsibility to update Sweet Tooth Events of any changes that may impact our service/stiming. We may not be able to accommodate drastic time changes due to multiple events on the day and will be accepted at our discretion. 6.3 We understand sometimes you may be delayed, if you are delayed Sweet Tooth Events will stop serving at the agreed time, however, we may give you a 15 minutes additional serving time towards the end of the time slot. 6.4 Unexpected road traffic, or in rare circumstances a road traffic accident during the journey to the venue could occur, Sweet Tooth Events will endeavour to make up for loss time and or provide the serving time towards the end of the event. No refunds will be provided. 6.5 In the very unfortunate and highly unlikely circumstance Sweet Tooth Events may have to cancel your booking, in this case a full refund will be provided, and Sweet Tooth Events will endeavour to find you contact details for a replacement vendor at your own cost.
Clients Food and Drinks 7.1 We accept no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products suppliers by the Client themselves) in additional to those arranged by Sweet Tooth Events.
Client’s use of Sweet Tooth Events’ Property and Clients Personal Property or Gifts 8.1 Sweet Tooth Events will not be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of the Client or gifts brought onto premises by your guests.
Liability of Sweet Tooth Events 9.1 Sweet Tooth Events accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing Sweet Tooth Events Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure which may change from time to time, is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.
Force Majeure 10.1 Sweet Tooth Events shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Sweet Tooth Events’ control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
